Welcome to my site, I’m Jenny Quld.
I am the daughter of a teacher and always knew I wanted to be a teacher, too; I started my degree at the tender age of 17. After our first child was born, I was poached by my husband to join him at Kodak. I took on a role as a senior trainer in photo processing, equipment operation and sales. I had ten fabulous years working part-time and travelling all over Australia while my kids were younger. As much as I loved it, I missed having my own class and little learners. I got back into elementary teaching when my husband was transferred to Jakarta, Indonesia. We had four fabulous years there, and I taught at the International school (NZIS) our children went to. I have taught most primary grades; however, my passion is in the early years. I am currently teaching grade one at a school in a very low socioeconomic area. Many of my students live in poverty, are victims of violence and come to school with little cultural knowledge.
They are challenging little cherubs who bring me so much joy.

Most of the children that come to our school have never been read stories, and they arrive at school without the understanding of language and syntax that listening to quality stories brings. I read at least three books a day to my students and try and teach using the content of these stories. I decided to share my products on Teachers Pay Teachers to help pay for my storybook addiction. I have been designing and selling teaching products at Teachers Pay Teachers since 2016 and love making fun and engaging teaching products that your students will enjoy and learn from.
